Ewing Athletics is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the ‘90s cult classic Ace Ventura: Pet Detective with a unique capsule collection. Designed by customizer extraordinaire Mache, whose signature appears on the quarter, this latest Ewing 33 HI flaunts a colorful pattern inspired by the Hawaiian shirts Ace Ventura wears throughout the film.
“I’ve definitely wanted to make an Ace shoe for years now,” says Mache. “Being a person who grew up in the ‘90s, Ace was a classic comedy woven into our memories.” Transformed into a Dolphins colorway, this Ewing 33 HI will launch alongside a matching jacket and shorts. The shoe will also come in a custom box to commemorate the film’s anniversary.
This collaborative sneaker flaunts a premium multicolor upper with Hawaiian print and special movie branding throughout. The flagship Ewing Athletics shoe, the 33 HI, is an exact retro of the 1990 original. It features a classic reversible ankle strap that can be worn on the front or back of the shoe and a full-length PU midsole for cushioning. Available in Men's Sizes 5-16.

I have nothing but good things to say about these shoes, I have had reconstructive ankle surgery and these bad boys have made it so my ankle doesn't hurt near as much as it used to. Now onto the color way that MACHE came up with for this beast, I absolutely am in love with the colors! They are breathtaking in person and far surpassed any expectations. I have had four separate people try and buy them off my feet, the "finkle is einhorn" gets them every time. I wear them almost everyday and have had to do very minimal cleaning to maintain the shoes. Keep it coming guys and I will certainly be back for a new pair very soon! LOVE PEACE AND CHICKEN GREASE!!
