Pat stood tall amidst the NYC skyline, a towering figure synonymous with the city's sports scene. When one reflects on New York basketball icons, Pat's name invariably comes to mind first. To continue commemorating Pat's enduring legacy, we've created a three-part "I Love NY" capsule collection. This collection aims to help narrate the story of the greatest city in the world and how Pat played a pivotal role in establishing it as one of America's best sports towns.
Inspired by Lady Liberty, this 33 HI sneaker boasts an all-leather seafoam green upper, accented with touches of copper as a callback to Lady Liberty's original hue pre- and post-oxidation. Each pair of sneakers is presented in a special co-branded "I Love NY" box exclusively designed for this collection. The 33 HI Lady Liberty, the first in a series of three sneakers created in collaboration with I Love NY and is now available on ewingathletics.com.
The flagship Ewing Athletics shoe, the 33 HI is an exact retro of the 1990 original, and features a classic reversible ankle strap that can be worn on the front or back of the shoe, full nubuck upper and a full length PU midsole for cushioning and a rubber outsole.

I really wish they would’ve made the eye in Ewing on the heel the Statue of Liberty. It looks so dope on the tongue of the shoe, but nobody knows what the shoes are supposed to be until I show them. If it was on the heel, everyone would know. Still love them just like I love all my others.
