Before Pat’s legendary college and NBA career, there was Cambridge Rindge and Latin School. Growing up in Jamaica, Pat’s first loves were cricket and soccer. However, after coming to America with his family at age 12 and a chance meeting with Mike Jarvis, following an introduction from Pat’s PE teacher Steve Jenkins, the rest is history. Mike Jarvis took Pat under his wing and taught him the game of basketball. Pat ended up developing into one of the best high school players in the country, leading the CRLS Falcons to a 94-5 record and three state championships. Not bad for someone who didn’t start playing basketball until the age of 12. To honor Pat’s legendary high school career, we designed a Ewing 33 HI inspired by the colors he wore while at CRLS. Featuring a white leather base with brown and yellow accents, the sneakers also feature Pat’s #32 on the tongue and strap – the number he wore in high school before donning the iconic #33.
The flagship Ewing Athletics shoe, the 33 HI is an exact retro of the 1990 original, and features a classic reversible ankle strap that can be worn on the front or back of the shoe, and a full length PU midsole for cushioning and a rubber outsole.
